How to connect
You connect Anthropic from inside Roiva, so you need a Roiva workspace first. Sign in to connect it now. New to Roiva? Take the free assessment and create your workspace at the end, or request an invite.
- In the Claude Console: Sign in at platform.claude.com as an organization admin — only members with the admin role can create Admin API keys
- In the Claude Console: Go to Settings → Admin keys (platform.claude.com/settings/admin-keys) and click Create key
- Back in Roiva: Paste the secret here — it starts with sk-ant-admin01- and is shown only once
- Back in Roiva: The connection page checks each step and says what's missing. Once it's all ticked, click Test Connection
- Back in Roiva: After connecting, link this connection to an initiative on the Initiatives tab
Tips for capturing value
- Admin keys live on their own Console page — a key from Settings → API keys is a different credential, and a workspace-scoped one cannot read organization usage and cost data
- The Admin API is not available on individual accounts — set up an organization first under Claude Console → Settings → Organization
- Claude Code on Claude Enterprise seats reports to the Enterprise organization on claude.ai, not to a Console organization, so this key cannot see it. Connect Claude Enterprise for that
- Spend and token data is broken down by model, so you can see exactly which Claude model is driving costs
- Pairing Anthropic cost data with outcome data from your CRM or support platform gives you a complete ROI picture
- If you also map Anthropic's invoice to the same initiative in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Brex or Ramp, the invoice is left out in any month this connection books, because it carries the whole Anthropic bill and this connection books Anthropic's own cost report, for the workspaces this link claims. An allocation rule for Anthropic, or a locked period, keeps the invoice instead, and this connection books nothing that month
