Brex
Corporate card and spend platform. Brex card transactions surface the AI-tool seat sprawl that bypasses Accounts Payable — ChatGPT Plus, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Perplexity — billed directly to corporate cards.
What gets synced
Roiva writes these metric observations on each sync. Reference the key in a value formula to use this data in your ROI calculations.

Common use cases
- Capture per-seat AI subscriptions (ChatGPT Plus, Cursor, Copilot) charged to corporate cards
- Backfill historical AI-tool spend that never hit AP into initiative cost baselines
- Auto-attribute future card charges from matched vendors to the right initiative
Tips for capturing value
- Brex covers card spend only — pair with QuickBooks / Xero / NetSuite for full AP coverage
- Suggested from your books, on an initiative's page, scans bills (QBO/Xero/NetSuite), QuickBooks and Xero card spend, and Brex card transactions, so a single accept can route them all to the same initiative
- If Brex also posts your charges into QuickBooks or Xero, each charge counts once, from Brex. Roiva leaves out the purchases paid from your Brex account in the books and still counts the rest of your card, check and cash spend there. The Brex connection's setup check names the account it treats as Brex's; choose another there if yours has a different name. A QuickBooks bill paid by card from that account counts only the part the card didn't pay. Brex's default export, journal entries, isn't read as card spend, so it never counts twice. If you disconnect or remove Brex, the charges it counted stay counted, and your books count that account from the day after its last synced charge
- Refunds and chargebacks are stored with negative amounts so monthly rollups net correctly; card-balance payments and rewards credits are stored as zero, since neither is spend
