Assessments

An assessment is a questionnaire about your organization. When you complete one, Roiva recommends initiative templates based on your answers, and you can add any of them in one click.

Finding an assessment

Choose Assessments in the sidebar, under Plan. The page groups assessments into In progress, Completed and Available. You can search by title or description, or narrow the list with the Category filter.

Roiva publishes three kinds:

• AI readiness and maturity, such as AI Strategy & Governance or Data Readiness
• Departments, such as Finance & Accounting Operations or Customer Success & Support Operations
• Industries, such as Healthcare & Life Sciences or Manufacturing

Anyone on the account (Owner, Admin or Member) can take an assessment, on any plan.

One set of answers per account

Each assessment has a single set of answers for the whole account. If a teammate has started one, it shows as In progress for you too, and opening it continues their answers.

Taking one

1. Open an assessment and choose Start Assessment.
2. Answer the questions, section by section. Questions marked * are required. A section that doesn't apply to you may have a Not applicable checkbox; ticking it skips the section, and it no longer counts toward your progress.
3. Choose Save Progress to save your answers and keep going. Answers aren't saved as you type, so save before you leave the page.
4. When you're done, choose Complete Assessment and confirm.

Complete Assessment won't finish while a question marked * has no answer, except in a section marked Not applicable. The page says how many are left and marks each one. The answers you just gave are saved.

To come back to an unfinished assessment, open it from In progress and choose Continue Assessment.

If you answered the quick questions in the assessment step of setup, those answers are saved to the AI ROI Exposure Assessment. It shows as In progress until you finish it here.

Your results

A completed assessment's page shows Recommended initiatives: the templates whose rules your answers match, highest impact first. A template with no rules is never recommended, so some templates are only in the full list. Each one shows its impact, effort and complexity.

• Add to initiatives creates the initiative in one click, with you as its owner, up to your plan's initiative limit.
• Customize first opens the new-initiative form already filled in, so you can make changes before saving.
• View details opens the template.

A template that needs a module or an industry pack your plan doesn't include shows Requires and the module or pack it needs, in place of the buttons. A template your account already has an initiative from shows Added, whether you added it from this page, the template list or setup. Its View initiative button opens that initiative. If nothing matched, the page offers Browse initiatives. Browse all templates always opens the full list. See Using initiative templates.

An initiative you add from here is linked to your answers. Answers to questions tied to a metric fill in that initiative's baselines, and Roiva uses your other answers when it estimates the baselines that are still missing.

Changing your answers

On a completed assessment, View my answers shows your answers, read-only. Edit Response reopens the assessment, and it goes back to In progress. Its recommendations are hidden until you complete it again.

The public AI ROI Exposure Assessment

Roiva's website has an AI ROI Exposure Assessment that anyone can take before signing up. It's the same assessment as the one with that name under Assessments. If you took it and then signed up in the same browser, your answers come with you, and it keeps its status (In progress or Completed). If you signed up some other way, Roiva matches it to your account within a day, as long as you gave the assessment the same email address you signed up with.

An account keeps one set of answers per assessment. If yours already has answers to the AI ROI Exposure Assessment, for example from the quick questions in setup, Roiva combines the two: a completed set is kept over an unfinished one, otherwise the more recent. An unfinished set that's kept picks up the other's answers to questions it hadn't answered yet. Initiatives added from either set stay linked.
